Lacey Residents Urged To Apply For NJ Property Tax Rebates
The program's application deadline for 2019 has been extended again; the "senior freeze" program provides relief for low-income seniors.
LACEY, NJ — Senior citizens have additional time to apply for the 2019 New Jersey property tax rebate after state officials again extended the deadline.
The rebate program, also referred to as the "senior freeze" program, reimburses eligible senior citizens and disabled people for property tax or mobile home park site fee increases on their principle residence. To qualify, residents must meet all the eligibility requirements for each year from the base year through the application year.
The new application deadline is Feb. 1.
