Lacey Restaurant Named One Of NJ's Best New Pizzerias

LACEY, NJ — National Pizza Month is always worth celebration, but one Lacey pizzeria has even more reason to enjoy the occasion. Nj.com named Mimmo's Pizza, Pasta & Subs one of the 20 best new pizzerias in New Jersey.

Here's what they wrote:

"I love my saucy, tomatoey pizzas, but there's nothing quite like a wonderful white pie, and you can find one at Mimmo's, open about two years. There are nine kinds on the menu, but go with the Valentina, distinguished by great runny globs of ricotta, perky sun-dried tomatoes and just enough kalamata olives and feta. It's what every white pizza aspires to, but rarely achieves."

Owner and operator Domenica Costagliola was born and raised in Naples, Italy, according to the Mimmo's website. He has over 20 years of restaurant experience and provides New Jersey with authentic Italian dishes.

Mimmo's is located at 336 Lacey Rd., Forked River.
