Lacey School Faculty To Ball Against Harlem Wizards

The Harlem Wizards will bring their dunks, humor and hoop trickery to Lacey. The Lacey Warriors, represented by Lacey Township teachers and staff, face the Wizards at 7 p.m. Feb. 26 at the high school gym.

Funds from this event support the Lacey Township High School Interact Club. The Wizards are a traveling basketball team who occasionally hold fundraiser games against teachers. The team's playing style focuses on comedy and performing tricks.

You can purchase tickets through cash or check made payable to Rotary Club of Forked River, or order online at harlemwizards.com. Contact a Forked River Rotarian for tickets purchased through cash and check.

Student tickets cost $10 for advanced purchase and $12 at the door. Adult tickets cost $12 in advance and $15 at the door. All online orders carry a $1.25 fee per ticket.

Courtside Plus tickets cost $30 online. The package includes court-side seating, a meet and greet with two or three Wizards and a $10 discount on a Wizards jersey.

Children also have the opportunity to become a Wiz Kid with the purchase of a Wizards jersey and game ticket. Wiz Kids get to warm-up with the Wizards before the game. They also receive a personal introduction to the crowd, participation in the Wizards' grand entrance and a group photo with both teams.

Children K-6 must come with an adult. Admission is free for children 3 and under. Handicapped seating is available by purchasing a ticket and calling 609-693-1914.
