Lacey Schools Plan 'Celebration Tour' To Honor Graduating Seniors
Police, first responders and a school bus of Lacey administrators visited each senior to deliver lawn signs and gift bags.
LACEY, NJ — Graduation won't be the same this year, but Lacey Township High School found a way to make it memorable. In fact, the "Class of 2020 Celebration Tour" already started.
Lacey police and first-responder emergency vehicles will drive to each senior's home — all 266 of them. The school district's Transportation Department will include a decorated school bus in the parade, which high school administrators, Superintendent Dr. Vanessa Clark and school-board members will occupy.
They will deliver a "We Are Proud of You Class of 2020" lawn sign and gift bag. The gift bags, lawn signs, and T-shirts were made possible through donations from Wawa, the LTHS Boosters and the LTHS PTSA. Debi's Signs created the lawn signs and t-shirts.

During the caravan, everyone will practice social distancing and wear masks and gloves. If you take pictures with the sign, bag or T-shirt, you can tag @LT_LionsPride on Instagram.
"We cannot come together or approach each other; however, we cannot wait to see you!" Principal Gregory Brandis wrote. "In addition, if any other students or Lacey School Community members see the procession of vehicles, please waive and/or show signs of support for our 2020 Seniors!"
