Lacey Township Christmas Tree Pickup Has Begun

Curbside tree pickup runs through Jan. 10.

LACEY, NJ — Some might want to leave up their Christmas trees and decorations, but Lacey Township's Christmas tree pickup is underway. Pickup will take place from this Thursday through Jan. 10.

Remove decorations and place the live Christmas tree at your curb during regular recycling pickup days.

If you want to keep your tree longer, you can drop it off at the Lacey Township Recycling Center during operating hours:

  • 7 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • 8 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Saturday and Sunday

Ocean County parks — including Enos Pond County Park in Lacey — will also accept tree donations through Jan. 31. Island Beach State Park will collect recycled trees from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Jan. 4 to aid its dune system.
