Event will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lacey Township Schoolhouse Museum at 126 South Main Street

Johnny Appleseed would be proud.
If he were still around, he might even drop into the annual Lacey Township Apple Festival coming up this Saturday.
The event will feature everything apples - pies, candied, pie-eating contests, apple crisps, and fresh-picked. There will be kids' games, demonstrations, a pumpkin patch and pumpkin painting, music, and hot dogs.
