Local Business Comes Out to Help the Lacey Food Bank

Less than 3 weeks ago Judy Ryan & Jeff Ryan of Ryan's ServiCenter in Lanoka Harbor committed to continuing their support of the Lacey Food Bank. Concentrating on the basic foods that we supply every month to each of our 150+ families - that's nearly 700 people - they helped to boost our pantry staples by donating 72 cans of pasta sauce, 127 boxes of pasta and 16 cans of tuna!! But the Lacey Food Bank was falling far behind in other basic needs and the Toilet Paper Adventure began!! After scouring far and wide Ryan's ServiCenter with help from Jourdan Ryan and the trusty Boe and Rufus found and secured the most sought of treasure in all the land!! More than 575 rolls of the finest TP were donated to the Lacey Food Bank this morning under the watchful eye of Boe and Rufus - just in time for the Lacey Food Bank regular distribution. A Thank You shout out also to Louise Duym and John for contributing to this awesome donation! In a time when we at the Lacey Food Bank are trying our best to fill the basic needs of the families we serve, people like the Ryan's and every one of our community of supporters prove to us that Lacey Township is so very far from basic.
