Mill Pond School Collects Donations For Lacey Food Bank

Students and parents can drop off donations outside the main office, in the hall outside the cafeteria and by Room 2.

LACEY, NJ — Mill Pond Elementary School is collecting food items to help the Lacey Food Bank this week until Friday, April 30.

Receptacles are set up at the Mill Pond school outside the main office, in the hall outside the cafeteria and by Room 2.

Any non-perishable food items will be accepted, but the food drive is also seeking picnic-themed items for Memorial Day Weekend:

  • Mustard, ketchup
  • Cans of baked beans
  • Sauerkraut
  • Relish
  • Frosting
  • Cake mix
  • Boxed pasta salads
  • Chips
  • Dips
  • Marshmallows
  • Fruit snacks
  • Boxed cereals
  • Any other non-perishable BBQ item

Beyond this food drive, the Lacey Food Bank at 102 Station Dr., Forked River accepts donations Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to noon.
