The NJ Department of Health is partnering with 12 places to give a free beer to adults who get their first COVID-19 vaccine dose in May

NEW JERSEY — New Jerseysans who have received their first dose of the vaccine this month have another perk to look forward to besides protecting themselves against COVID-19.

Anyone 21 and older who receives their first shot in May can show their CDC-issued vaccine card for a free beer at these 12 local breweries (see list below).

Gov. Phil Murphy announced the “Shot and a Beer” program as a partnership between the New Jersey Department of Health and the Brewers Guild of New Jersey during a press briefing Monday.
