New Lacey Barber Provides More Than Just Cuts

LACEY, NJ — A barber shop recently opened in Lacey. But if you take a look inside, you'll see that Jersey Shore Barber Supply provides a little more than the typical barber shop.

They also sell every tool that barbers could need, including clippers, straight razors, aftershave, quality hair gels and beard products.

"My girlfriend is a barber, and there’s no supply shops around here," said Andrew Grenz, who founded the business with Ashley Mazzola. "So we decided to start a fusion business where we can supply quality haircuts and also supply the barber industry with the correct tools that they need."

Mazzola has been a barber for about six years, while Grenz has experience in sales. The business opened around Nov. 1 at 1031 Lacey Road and held its grand opening last Friday and Saturday.

Jersey Shore Barber Supply mostly grooms men and boys, with plenty of cutting, shaving and waxing services available. Some of their barbers can cut women's hair, but they don't have the tools for a full salon experience.

The shop is open the following hours:

• Monday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Tuesday: closed
• Wednesday-Thursday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Friday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
• Saturday: 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Monday: closed
