Ocean County Fair 2015: Day Four

Fair hours are from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The Ocean County Fair continues today under sunny skies and comfortable temperatures, a marked change from the sometimes torrential rains of the first two days.

The fair features rides, entertainment, children’s games, 4-H animals and demonstrations, agricultural displays, craft demonstrations, music and food.

Today’s events include a Civil War march and demonstration on the fair midway at 5 p. m, a tractor demonstration at 6 p.m. in the schooling ring and 4-H games and fun night at 8 p.m. in the 4-H show tent.

A new company - Monroe-based Amusements of America - is providing the rides this year, according to WOBM.

The rides will include Ring of Fire, and a Bonzai Gravitron, Scooter, Wacky Worm Roller Coast, a Merry-go-Round, Tilt-A-Whirl and several fun houses.

Admission to the fair is $7 per person. Children under 10 are admitted free. Visitors can purchase unlimited ride tickets for $15 on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Fair hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. 11 a.m. Please leave your pets at home. There is a no pets policy in effect.
