
Today is the first day of the Ocean County Fair, which will run from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. tonight at the Ocean County Airport off Route 530 in Berkeley Township.
Here is the lineup for the night’s scheduled entertainment
• Hot Dog Pig Racing starts at 5 p.m. and continues throughout the evening.

. Doc Swan’s Magical Comedy Variety Show - 6:45 p.m., main stage.
. Puppy Power - Seeing Eye Dog show - 7 p.m., 4-H show tent.
. Bwana Jim’s Wildlife Show, 7:30 p.m., outdoor show area.
. Doc Swan’s Magical Comedy Variety Show - 8:15 p.m., main stage.

The fair will feature rides, entertainment, children’s games, 4-H animals and demonstrations, agricultural displays, craft demonstrations, music and food.
A new company - Monroe-based Amusements of America - is providing the rides this year, according to WOBM.
The rides will include Ring of Fire, and a Bonzai Gravitron, Scooter, Wacky Worm Roller Coast, a Merry-go-Round, Tilt-A-Whirl and several fun houses.
Admission to the fair is $7 per person. Children under 10 are admitted free. Visitors can purchase unlimited ride tickets for $15 on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fair hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. 11 a.m. Please leave your pets at home. There is a no pets policy in effect.
