The rain has finally stopped, at least for now, for the first full day of the Ocean County Fair at the Ocean County Airport in Berkeley Township.
Torrential rains doused the first two nights of the fair, but today the sun is shining, at least for now. The fair will run from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Tonight features a performance by After The Reign, a premier country band and a classic car show, in addition to the standard fair entertainment.

The classic car show starts at 6 p.m. on the midway, along with a small animal cage decorating contest in the small animal tent.

The fair features rides, entertainment, children’s games, 4-H animals and demonstrations, agricultural displays, craft demonstrations, music and food.
A new company - Monroe-based Amusements of America - is providing the rides this year, according to WOBM.
The rides will include Ring of Fire, and a Bonzai Gravitron, Scooter, Wacky Worm Roller Coast, a Merry-go-Round, Tilt-A-Whirl and several fun houses.
Admission to the fair is $7 per person. Children under 10 are admitted free. Visitors can purchase unlimited ride tickets for $15 on Thursday from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Fair hours are 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. on Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Hours are 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. 11 a.m. Please leave your pets at home. There is a no pets policy in effect.
