Palmer The Pomeranian Needs A Forever Home

The 10-year-old dog was found as a stray in Newark, has made an amazing recovery at Popcorn Park

FORKED RIVER, NJ - Little Palmer the Pomeranian was in terrible shape when he arrived at the Popcorn Park Animal Shelter.

He was found as a stray in Newark, matted and filthy. But this 10-year-old boy had a nice long spa day and several weeks of medical treatment and is in terrific shape, according to a post on the Associated Humane Animal Society's Popcorn Park Facebook page.

But now, just look at that face!

"Palmer is feeling like a brand new puppy!"the post states. "He is otherwise a happy, perky, friendly and lovable little guy. He considers you his best friend from the moment he meets you and welcomes all the attention he gets."

Palmer is extremely well-behaved, calm, quiet, and mild-mannered. He would do best with a dog with a similar disposition and needs a quiet, commotion-free home. He will be your lap dog, companion, and very best buddy if you give him a chance.
