Patrick W. Flanagan II Of Forked River Dies At 55

Services will be held on Wednesday and Thursday

Patrick W. Flanagan II of Forked River passed away on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Southern Ocean Medical Center, Stafford Township, after a very long battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 55.

He was born in Plainfield, NJ to the late, Joseph Patrick Flanagan and MaryAnn (King) Flanagan. Patrick lived in Navesink before moving to Forked River, NJ in 1992. He was a parishioner of the Church of Saint Pius X, Forked River. Patrick was a motorcycle and car enthusiast and enjoyed boating and power sports.

Patrick is survived by his wife, Christine; his four children, Patrick, Forked River, Michael, Forked River, Jacqueline, Asbury Park, and MaryAnn, Forked River; his two brothers, Joseph, Parsippany, and Brian, Brick; his two sisters, MaryKate Schiller, Scotch Plains and Ruthann Jennings, Lawrenceville; and his former wife, Barbara Broussard.

Friends may visit from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. on Wednesday at Layton's Home for Funerals in Forked River. A memorial Mass will be held at 10 a.m. at St. Pius R.C. Church in Forked River.
