The Burger King in the Lacey Mall closed last year. The applicant for the property — Lacey Z, Inc. — proposed a Popeyes which would operate from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. every day.
The Planning Board will hold a public hearing for the business as soon as June 8. It could get delayed because of coronavirus restrictions, says Planning and Zoning Board Administrative Secretary Susan Connor. The next scheduled meeting after would occur July 13.
