Preserving the Past Can Be Fun!

Lacey Township Historical Society needs help!

The Lacey Township Historical Society is appealing to the community for volunteers. All are welcome senior to students, any bit of time is appreciated. We are planning many special events for 2019 including rock painting, making S'Mores, historical tales at our fire pit, a Victorian High Tea and Ghost investigation, an evening with a medium and many more. Our goal is to maintain the Old Schoolhouse Museum, preserve Lacey artifacts from our past and give an annual high school scholarship. Without interested and dedicated volunteers the society would be a thing of the past. We offer free Historical Programs four times a year. We meet the first Monday of the month, weather permitting, excluding holidays at 7:00 in the Old Schoolhouse Museum located (behind Mrs. Walker's Ice Cream) 126 South Main Street (Route 9) in Forked River. Questions call and leave a message 609-971-04767.
