Trick Or Trunk Event Coming To Lacey, Courtesy Of Chamber Of Commerce

The registration deadline for businesses and nonprofits is Oct. 7

Looking for a safe venue for your children to trick or treat?

Then bring them to Gille Park on Oct. 22, where area businesses and nonprofit organizations will be on hand to give out candy from their decorated vehicles from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

This is the second year of the event. Last year more than 1,500 children attended.

"The Lacey Chamber of Commerce is encouraging all businesses and nonprofit organizations to create an atmosphere that allows children to trick-or-treat in a safe and friendly environment," according to a Chamber release.

Businesses and nonprofits are limited to one vehicle only and must provide their own candy. Participants are urged to decorate their vehicles and wear costumes.
