You can now watch the trailer for a short film created in Lacey. Garden State Productions released the official trailer for "Masters," directed by Forked River resident Mark Ward and filmed in the Forked River Production House.

"A frazzled young woman prepares to take the hardest test in the world. Thankfully the only thing on the line is everything," the movie's tagline says.

The film embraces New Jersey talent. Stars Fredric Lehne (Lost, American Horror Story, Boardwalk Empire, Men in Black and more) and Shannon Meehan (Jiu-Jitsu 101, The Best Version of You) are both Garden State-based. Meehan, who also co-produced the film, graduated from Rutgers.

"Masters" will screen at several film festivals around the country, including the 2019 Garden State Film Festival, which will show the film at noon March 30 in the Paramount Theatre (1200 Ocean Dr., Asbury Park).
