This Week At Community Christian Church, Lanoka Harbor

This Sunday Community Christian Church (541 Liberty Way, Lanoka Harbor) is celebrating the beginning of the Church of Jesus Christ. This is known as Pentecost Sunday (see Acts 2 in the Bible). The Church will have a special message for the occasion and a "Linger Longer" with birthday cake.

Here's what's happening this week at CCC:

Wednesday, June 5 - Peak-In-The-Week Bible Study. Faith Lessons "Walk As Jesus Walked." This week's lesson is "Don't Forget Us," filmed in Cappadocia. Plan to join CCC next Wednesday (6:00 pm) to view "The Silencing of God."

Sunday, June 9 (Pentecost Sunday)- 9:30 am - Bible Classes for all ages. Children and Youth will have a "hands-on" Bible lesson. Adults will continue in a overview study of the first five books of the Bible.

10:30 am - Worship. This week's message in keeping with Pentecost Sunday is "Church Life."

The Patch has reported that the Oyster Creek nuclear plant will be sounding the sirens one last time on Tuesday, June 4 at noon. Don't be alarmed.
