Woman Seriously Injured In Lacey Rt. 539 Crash: Police
The 22-year-old woman appeared to have crossed the centerline before crashing into trees, police said.
LACEY, NJ — A woman suffered serious injuries Wednesday afternoon after losing control of her vehicle and crashing into the woods on Route 539, police said.
Kayla Kraus, 22, was driving south when her vehicle crossed the centerline and left the county highway, police told the Asbury Park Press. Nobody else was in the vehicle, and no other cars were involved.
She was airlifted and taken to the trauma center for "extensive" injuries, police said.
