5 Things To Know As Livingston Switches Trash Collectors
Livingston will have a new garbage collector on Sept. 1. Here are five things you should know, town officials say.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston officials released a list of “five things to know” about garbage collection as the town prepares to switch to a new provider this week.
Town officials previously announced that RTS will take over as Livingston's garbage collection vendor on Tuesday, Sept. 1.

Livingston officials issued the following tips on Monday:
- There will be no interruption in service. All residential pickups will continue as scheduled.
- For questions or to continue rear-yard garbage pickup, call 1-833-787-4636 or email LivingstonRY@rts.com
- For general questions or to report a missed pickup, call 1-833-RTS-LVTN (1-833-787-5886)

- Recycling pickups will still be done by Waste Industries
