Bad Weather In Livingston, Forecasters Say: Snow, School, Driving
Livingston is preparing for an early winter storm that's predicted to hit towns across New Jersey.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — Bad weather may be on the way, forecasters say. And Livingston is among the towns preparing for an early winter storm that’s predicted to cause problems across New Jersey.
In some parts of the state, forecasters are calling for as much as a foot of snow on Monday and early Tuesday. The forecast for Livingston was more modest, with the National Weather Service predicting daytime snow accumulation of 2 to 4 inches and nighttime snow accumulation of an extra 2 to 4 inches.
All Livingston Township municipal offices are set to close at 2 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 2.

Livingston officials told residents to monitor local weather conditions and use “common sense” to avoid unsafe and dangerous situations and conditions.
“Avoid driving, especially as weather worsens,” officials said. “If you must drive, do so with extreme caution.”

Livingston public schools were closed Monday, Dec. 2 due to the weather forecast. All activities and programs were also cancelled.
