Pawrade Raises $2,500 for Livingston Animal Shelter
This year's Pawrade, featuring a hound dog in an Elvis costume, raised thousands for the Mount Pleasant Avenue Shelter in Livingston.

On Sept. 28, Regal Bank hosted its 6th Annual Dog Pawrade at 570 West Mount Pleasant Avenue in Livingston. All proceeds from this fun and furry event benefit the Mount Pleasant Animal Shelter.
This year’s Pawrade featured 28 dogs, drew more than 60 people, and raised $2,500 for homeless animals in need. Since its inception in 2008, the Livingston Dog Pawrade has generated more than $8,000 for the shelter.
Pictured here is Elvis the English Bulldog, first place winner of Best Doggie Costume thanks to his Elvis jumpsuit complete with standup collar. When asked how he felt about his win, this king of the hound dogs curled his lip and said, “I’m all shook up. Thank you… thank you very much.”
