Essex County Will Use Trucks To Spray For Mosquitos In 7 Towns
The spraying will take place in Livingston, West Caldwell, Caldwell, North Caldwell, Roseland, Millburn and Fairfield.
ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — Essex County will be using trucks to spray for mosquitos this week in Livingston, West Caldwell, Caldwell, North Caldwell, Roseland, Millburn and Fairfield, officials say.
According to a Wednesday message from Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo Jr., the spraying will take place overnight. He wrote:
“Essex will be using truck-mounted sprayers to control the mosquito population in West Caldwell, Caldwell, North Caldwell, Roseland, Millburn, Livingston and Fairfield. It will be done nightly from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m. from June 23 to 26. For info, call 973-239-3366, ext. 2480, or 973-226-8500, ext. 0.”

Essex County carried out a separate wave of spraying from helicopters earlier this month. It took place in Fairfield, West Caldwell, Roseland, Millburn and Livingston.
