Find A New Movie To Watch: Livingston Inventors Roll Out 'Flyx'
Self-isolating? It may be a good time to check out a new "streaming social network" developed by two Livingston entrepreneurs: Flyx.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Self-isolating because of the new coronavirus? It may be a good time to check out a new “streaming social network” developed by two Livingston entrepreneurs.
According to a statement from co-founders, Shashank Singh and Mayank Mishra, the new service, Flyx, aggregates movies and shows and provides users targeted recommendations from friends, family and other trusted contacts. The service also lets users create a cross-platform "watch list," and integrates with other social media channels, allowing them to post to Instagram and Snapchat.
Ultimately, Flyx users will spend much less time searching for something new to watch, its creators say.

“Watching movies and shows has a huge impact in our social life and surprisingly none of the current social media captures it well enough,” Singh said.
The service is available for free download at the Apple and Google Play stores.
