Helicopter Will Do Mosquito Spraying Over 5 Essex County Towns

A low-flying helicopter will spray for mosquitoes in Fairfield, West Caldwell, Roseland, Millburn and Livingston on Tuesday, officials said.

ESSEX COUNTY, NJ — A low-flying helicopter will spray for mosquitoes in Fairfield, West Caldwell, Roseland, Millburn and Livingston on Tuesday, officials said.

Essex County is partnering with the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to perform the spraying, which is scheduled to take place between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m.

“The spray is harmless to humans and animals,” Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo Jr. stated.
