Keller Williams Suburban Realty Hosts Livingston Tax Revaluation Seminar

Tuesday evening, January 7, 2020, Keller Williams Suburban Realty (located in Livingston Town Center) hosted a seminar on the Livingston tax revaluation, which is currently in progress town-wide. Keller Williams Suburban team leader Jackie Kahan introduced attorneys Dani Landy and James Foerst of local legal firm Spector Foerst and Associates. The conversation was open to the public and the attorneys explained how the revaluation works, and what rights and options homeowners have at their disposal should they want to question or contest a tax increase. Key terms and dates were clarified, including the proposed 2020 tax rate of 2.241. A number of Keller Williams Realtors® were on-hand to assist homeowners interested in knowing what comparable homes in their neighborhoods have been selling for. Jon Lamkin of Guaranteed Rate sponsored the event and was also available to answer questions.
Steven Gendel is the Operating Principal of Keller Williams Suburban Realty.
