Labor Day Reminders In Livingston: Garbage, Town Office Closures
Here's the plan for town offices, garbage and recycling over the 2020 Labor Day holiday.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston officials released a list of reminders about town offices, garbage and recycling as the town prepares for the 2020 Labor Day holiday.
The following information comes via Livingston Township.
CLOSURES

Livingston Town Hall and all Township offices will close at noon on Friday, Sept. 4, and will remain closed on Monday, Sept. 7 in honor of the Labor Day holiday.
All offices will reopen during regular business hours on Tuesday, Sept. 8.

GARBAGE
There will be no garbage collection on Monday, Sept. 7.
“If your normal garbage collection day is Monday, your garbage will be picked up on the next regularly scheduled day, which is Thursday, Sept. 10,” officials said.
RECYCLING
Recycling will not be collected on Monday, Sept. 7, and collection for all homes in Livingston will move to the next day all week.
According to town officials:
“Therefore, Monday’s recycling (Zone 1) will instead be picked up on Tuesday, 9/8; Tuesday’s (Zone 2) on Wednesday, 9/9; Wednesday’s (Zone 3) on Thursday, 9/10; Thursday’s (Zone 4) on Friday, 9/11; and Friday’s (Zone 5) on Saturday, 9/12.”
