Littell’s Pond In Livingston OK For Ice Skating

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Looking for a place to ice skate in Livingston? On Wednesday, Livingston town officials announced that Littell’s Pond is open for skating.

The pond is located next to Livingston High School, to the back and right of the playground and tennis courts (off Wahler Road), according to the municipal website.

Livingston officials stated in a social media post that there are no designated hours for skating.

“Use your discretion to skate at the times you feel are prudent,” officials said. “We recommend skating during daylight hours.”

CALDWELL - On Tuesday, officials with the Essex County Park System announced on social media that recent freezing temperatures have made conditions suitable for skating on the pond in Grover Cleveland Park, located in Caldwell and Essex Fells.

CEDAR GROVE - The Cedar Grove Recreation Department stated Tuesday that "the skating pond at Morgan's Farm is being filled as we speak," and that locals should stay tuned for skating information in the coming days.

MONTCLAIR - At Montclair's municipally run Edgemont Pond, ice skating was cleared on New Year's Eve.
