Livingston Event: How To Prevent Tick-Borne Lyme Disease
The Livingston Health Department will host a Lyme and Tick Borne Diseases Panel on May 3.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Health Department will be hosting a Lyme and Tick Borne Diseases Panel on Thursday, May 3, 2018 from 7 to 8:30 p.m.
According to a municipal news release, the panel will take place at the Livingston Library, 10 Robert H. Harp Drive.
“New Jersey has one of the highest rates of cases of Lyme disease in the United States,” Livingston officials stated. “Not only can ticks transmit Lyme disease but ticks carry other diseases as well. Our expert panel will share their knowledge on preventing Lyme disease, common coinfections, diagnosis, symptoms, treatment, and more. There will be a question and answer session at the end of the panel.”
