Livingston Express Shuttle Adds New Summer Pickup Times
An early morning departure from the Livingston Mall and an evening trip from South Orange Station are now available.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Express Shuttle has launched an expanded summer schedule, with free rides through Labor Day 2021, officials announced Tuesday.
Essex County is helping welcome back shuttle user by offering rides free of charge through Labor Day, according to a municipal news release.
Starting July 6, a new shuttle trip has been added to the schedule in each direction. A 6:32 a.m. departure from the Livingston Mall and a 5:53 p.m. departure from South Orange Station are now available.

The schedules are subject to change based on review of ongoing shuttle usage, town officials said.

Riders are reminded of the following:
- Masks must be work on all transit vehicles and inside all stations and facilities
- Eating and drinking are strictly prohibited on all transit vehicles
- Maximum occupancy of the shuttle will be 10 people in order to enforce social distancing
“Free commuter parking is available in a designated parking area of the Livingston Mall,” officials stated. “Riders may park their vehicles in Section 18, located near the Walnut Street entrance behind Macy’s and beside the bus depot, where there are two active bus shelters. The shuttle picks up passengers at the first bus shelter. The parking area is well-lit and is regularly patrolled by both Mall Security and the Livingston Police Department.”
