LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston Township will hold a second public forum on the state’s new recreational marijuana laws on Tuesday, May 11 at 7 p.m.
According to a municipal news release, the panel will include Mayor Shawn Klein, Deputy Mayor Ed Meinhardt, Council Members Al Anthony, Michael Vieira and Rudy Fernandez, and Township Manager Barry Lewis Jr., along with Livingston Township Attorney Jarrid Kantor.
“The township attorney will explain the basics of the new marijuana law passed in New Jersey and review the specific options available that must be considered by the township council,” Livingston officials said. “This public forum will give those who missed the first forum on April 13 an opportunity to hear about the legislation and make a public comment.”
