Livingston Library to Hold Workshops for Small Businesses

Building a Website and Running a Home-Based Business

The Livingston Library will host two workshops for small businesses, one on building a website and one on starting and managing a home-based business.

Building a website will be presented on Tuesday, April 30, at 7:30pm by Ben Friedman of Village Marketing Co. He will discuss how to keep website costs down, building websites that are maintenance-free, while learning very little code. He will also address what system to use; buying a domain name; and website hosting.

Starting and running a successful home-based company will be presented on Monday, May 13, at 6:30pm. The Newark chapter of SCORE, an organization that helps fledgling small businesses, will cover the steps required to start and run a successful home-based company.
