Livingston Man Mourned; Served With Police, Fire, Water Dept.
For decades, Craig Parker put his community of Livingston first.
LIVINGSTON, NJ — For decades, Craig Parker put his community first.
On Monday, the Livingston Police Department announced that Parker – a dispatcher with the LPD – passed away. Parker, a familiar face (and voice) to Livingston emergency responders, also served with the Livingston fire and water departments.
Livingston police posted the following message on social media about Parker:

“On behalf of chief Gary Marshuetz, it is with deep regret that we announce the untimely death of dispatcher Craig Parker. Craig has been a member of the Livingston Police Department family for 14 years. Prior to that, Craig worked for the township water department for 11 years. Craig was also an active member of the Livingston Fire Department. Craig will be sorely missed by all of us who have known him. Craig, may you rest in peace.”

“Today we offer our thoughts and prayers to the Parker family as we say goodbye to a man who always put his community first. Craig Parker was a lifelong Livingston resident. Craig volunteered his time as a firefighter for the Livingston Fire Department for over 40 years, eventually attaining the rank of deputy chief. Craig served with the Livingston Police Department as a dispatcher for over 15 years, sending police, fire and ems to assist those in need. He will be missed by all. #RIP944”
