Livingston Motorcycle Safety Class: Here's What To Do At A Crash

What should you do if you're the first person to arrive at a motorcycle crash? Find out at a free, public workshop in Livingston.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — What should you do if you’re the first person to arrive at a motorcycle crash? What should riders pack in their first aid kits? What are the local “Good Samaritan” laws involving those on two wheels?

These are some of the questions that the Horseneck Motorcycle Riding Club of Livingston hopes to answer at a free program on Sunday, May 19.

According to a news release from the club, the program – which is open to the public – will take place at 6 p.m. at Livingston Masonic Lodge #11, 19 Burnet Street in Livingston (doors open at 5:30 p.m.)

Pizza and refreshments will be made available. Seats are limited and registration is required. To reserve a seat, email your contact information to horseneckrc@gmail.com.

“This program is designed for motorcycle riders and will consist of a presentation and a visual demonstration provided by Scott Rosen. Scott Rosen is an RN, BSN, American Heart Association instructor of CPR, First Aid and a prior EMT. The program will also cover what to do while waiting for emergency services, personal safety, how to assemble a first aid kit and Good-Samaritan laws.”
