Livingston Obitutary: Dorothea A. Corona
The longtime resident was a member of the South Mountain Skating Club, the Livingston Center Knitting Group and a former Girl Scout leader.

Livingston resident Dorothea A. Corona, a a member of the South Mountain Skating Club, the Livingston Center Knitting Group and a former Girl Scout leader, passed away on Aug. 24.
She was 90-years-old.

“Dorothea A. Corona, 90, of Livingston, died on August 24, 2015.
“Born in Larchmont, NY, she grew up in the Bronx, lived in Greenwich Village, NY and settled with her family in Livingston in 1959. She was a homemaker who enjoyed spending time with her family. In her spare time, she was a member of the South Mountain Skating Club, the Livingston Center Knitting Group and a former Girl Scout Leader.

“She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred L. Corona, her daughter Carol Dorothea and her brother, Edward A. Kuth.
“Surviving are her daughters, Linda Corona; Karen Barling and her husband Russel; her grandchildren, Christopher Barling and his wife Cara; Caitlin Tauro and her husband Armando, Russel-James Barling and Robert Barling; as well as her great-grandchildren, Gianna Marie, Giancarlo Tauro, ’Baby’ Tauro and her step great-grandchildren
“Matthew and Tyler Holland. Also survivng are many loving extended relatives, including the Lomax Family.
“In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations may be made in her memory to: Seton Hall Prep, The Brendan P. Tevlin ’13 Memorial Fund, 120 Northfield Ave., West Orange, NJ 07052.”
