Livingston Public Schools Set Kindergarten Registration

Registration is available for children who turn five-years-old before Oct. 1, 2015

Livingston Public Schools said registration for kindergarten is scheduled to begin Feb. 9 for children who turn five before Oct. 1, 2015.

The registration packet is available on the district website or in hard copy format at the Livingston Public Schools Central Office at 11 Foxcroft Drive, between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday to Friday. Registration begins based on the child’s last name. For additional information call 973-535-8000 ext. 8002 or email aennis@livingston.org for an appointment.

Parents/guardians should complete the registration packet before arriving. You will need medical records and supporting documents, including an original birth certificate for the child, original deed or tax bill (or lease with landlord affidavit) and an original utility bill for the current or previous month. For those who think an additional year at home would be beneficial to the child, they can discuss that option with one of the Livingston principals. Call 973-535-8000 ext. 8002 to discuss that option.

Livingston Public Schools determines placement of the students based on the enrollment of the individual schools. Notification of the assigned school will take place by June 1.
