Livingston Residents Drop Off 170 Lbs. of (Legal) Drugs

Operation Take Back NJ encourages residents to drop off unused prescription drugs.

The Livingston Police Department participated in Operation Take Back NJ on Saturday, April 27, 2013.  Residents were encouraged to drop off their expired and unused medications for safe disposal by the Drug Enforcement Administration.

Livingston residents relinquished 170 pounds of drugs.  The police department would like to thank all the residents who dropped off medication for disposal.  Safe disposal keeps drugs out of water supplies and out of the hands of people who may misuse them.
