Livingston SYLS Earns Award For Its ‘Intergenerational Prom’
The Intergenerational Prom in Livingston offers a night of food and entertainment for seniors and high school students.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Livingston Senior, Youth & Leisure Services (SYLS) recently earned the Daniel M. Gasalberti Award for Excellence in Recreation Programming in recognition of the agency’s 2018 Intergenerational Prom.
According to a municipal news release, the award was presented at the New Jersey Recreation & Park Association Annual Conference Awards Dinner Ceremony in Atlantic City on Feb. 26.
Each year, the Intergenerational Prom - a night of food and entertainment for seniors and high school students - draws over 250 attendees. It is held in collaboration with the Livingston Board of Education, town officials said.
