Livingston Workers ‘Monitoring Roads’ Amid Winter Storm Forecast

Livingston is on the case when it comes to possible snow-related problems, officials reported Tuesday.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston town workers are on the case when it comes to possible snow-related problems, officials reported Tuesday.

“As we continue to experience snow throughout the day today, township employees are continually monitoring roadways, and spreading salt and sand on the roads,” Livingston town officials said in an advisory sent at 2:13 p.m.

“If you must travel, be mindful of the temperatures and any potential for icy roads, and prepare in advance,” town officials said, adding that the NJ State Police have a list of suggestions for those who are forced to travel in stormy conditions.

“Remember, if you get stuck while driving in winter weather, stay inside your car,” Livingston officials said. “You are safer inside your car than outside.”
