Longtime Livingston Cop Passes Away: William Brennan
Livingston police officer William Brennan helped to implement "Project Lifesaver" and earned several commendations over his career.

The Livingston Police Department has lost one of its longtime officers, Corporal William J. Brennan.
A 36-year veteran of the force, Brennan was promoted to corporal in 1999 and was the “consummate professional,” according a statement from the Livingston Police Department.
Brennan was also a driving force behind the township’s “Project Lifesaver” initiative, which helps provide rapid response to save lives and reduce the potential for serious injury for adults and children who wander due to Alzheimer’s, dementia, autism, Down syndrome, and other related cognitive conditions.
