Paving Coming For South Orange Avenue In Livingston

Essex County’s 2019 Road Resurfacing Project includes South Orange Avenue in Livingston, and construction on this road is scheduled for mid-June through early July.

The tentative schedule for the phases of resurfacing construction is as follows; please note that these dates are subject to change and dependent on weather conditions.

Bloomfield Avenue in Caldwell, Plymouth Street in Fairfield, Mt. Pleasant Avenue in West Orange, Grove Street in East Orange, and Watchung Avenue in Montclair are also scheduled to be paved this summer.

The Essex County Department of Public Works has contracted Smith-Sondy Asphalt Construction Co., Inc. to perform the roadwork. The full list of streets scheduled to be paved in 2019 can be found at www.ecdpw.org/projects/essex-county-paving-2019.
