“Thank you to everyone who generously donated frozen turkeys to the Thanksgiving Food Drive. Saint Barnabas Medical Center contributed 106 turkeys to the pledged goal of 400. A very special thank you to Rick Davis, Chief Financial Officer, who individually donated 70 turkeys. In identifying the need of additional baskets, Stephen Zieniewicz, FACHE, President & CEO, generously donated 25 turkeys, completing the drive.

“Securing dessert for each basket was made possible through the donation of 3,500 cookies from Livingston Bagel and Supreme Bakery.

“Thank you to our event sponsors, Community Health & Outreach, Sodexo and the Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills. Through this collective partnership, we were able to directly support 420 families in the Orange Public School District, reaching approximately 2,500 individuals. This year, we were able to provide each basket with a second serving of vegetables.

“Every donation made this year’s basket program possible and helped us accomplish a Thanksgiving basket record!”
