The Livingston Board of Education will hold community forums on the tentative $106 million spending plan for the 2013-2014 school year. The budget includes curriculum and special education initiatives, and safety and security upgrades. The forums are scheduled for 7 p.m. March 18 at the LHS media center, and 10 a.m. March 20 at the Livingston Public Schools Central Office. A public hearing will be 7:30 p.m. March 21. The Livingston Township Council will hold a Conference Meeting Monday, March 18 at 7:30 p.m. at Town Hall. There will be a Listening Post meeting preceeding the conference meeting at 7 p.m. The agenda is attached to this article as a PDF.

The artistic talents of AP students are being showcased at Town Hall. The Arts Council of Livingston presents the exhibition of work by LHS Advanced Placement art students. The show will be on display until Friday, March 30 and the community is invited to an opening reception at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 18 in the Livingston Town Hall.
In music rehearsal space throughout Livingston Public Schools, youth musicians are rehearsing for the March 20Â All-District concert. The evening performances will feature groups from all nine LPS schools. It will be held at Livingston High School beginning at 7 p.m. and is free and open to the public.
