South Orange Police Arrest Livingston Man

Driver faces DWI charge after striking cement island on South Orange Avenue near Church Street on Jan. 31.

A 42-year-old Livingston man was arrested by South Orange police on Jan. 31 after officers saw his car strike a cement island on South Orange Avenue near Church Street, South Orange police officials said.

Brian Gordon was driving along the roadway at 3 a.m. when officers saw the incident and stopped the car.

Following an investigation, police arrested Gordon and charged him with driving under the influence.
