Strip House Gets Rave Review from NJ Monthly
Livingston steak house garners accolades from magazine's restaurant critic.

Â
Strip House, the David Rockwell-designed steak house located in the Westminster Hotel, recently received a stellar review from NJ Monthly's Rosie Saferstein.Â
Calling the ambience, service and food "top-notch" from start to finish, Saferstein raved in her most recent blog about Chef de Cuisine Bill Zucosky's double-bacon iceberg lettuce wedge with tomatoes, shredded carrots, and radishes dressed with a spicy Russian dressing; 'angry' lobster; rack of lamb; filet mignon; and strip steak.

"The meat was juicy, tender and deeply satisfying," Saferstein wrote. She also praised all of the sauces, including the Bordelaise, Stilton cheese, sweet chili, and béarnaise sauce.
Desserts also got raves, especially the 24-layer chocolate cake and a "stunning" and "unforgettable" baked Alaska with milk chocolate ice cream on the outside, butter pecan ice cream in the middle and covered with an Italian meringue.Â
