LIVINGSTON, NJ — How will the 2019 Thanksgiving holiday impact garbage, recycling, town office hours and the Express Shuttle in Livingston?
Town officials released the following information about this year’s holiday schedules.

MUNICIPAL OFFICES CLOSED

All Township of Livingston offices will be closed on Thursday, November 28 and Friday, November 29, 2019 for the Thanksgiving holiday.
GARBAGE AND RECYLING

There will be no garbage or recycling pickup on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 28.
Garbage for those with Monday/Thursday pickup will be collected on the next regularly scheduled day, Monday, December 2.
For streets with Tuesday/Friday garbage collection, regular garbage and bulk items will be picked up on Friday, November 29.
Recycling collection will move forward one day per the normal holiday schedule, affecting Zones 4 and 5: Zone 4 recycling will be picked up on Friday, November 29 and Zone 5 on Saturday, November 30.
There will be no metal pickup on Friday, November 29. Regular Friday metal collection will resume on Friday, December 6 (register by 12 noon on Thursday, December 5 for that Friday’s pickup).
EXPRESS SHUTTLE
The Livingston Express Shuttle will operate on the Pre-Holiday Schedule on Wednesday, November 27 with additional rides to correspond with NJ Transit's "Early Getaway" service. Find the Pre-Holiday Schedule at www.livingstonnj.org/ExpressShuttle.
There will be no Express Shuttle service on Thursday, November 28 or Friday, November 29. Regular service will resume on Monday, December 2.
