The Lorax, Wreck-It Ralph at Livingston Library

Looking for something to do with the kids on spring break? Here are two options.

This spring break week, the Livingston Public Library is hosting two kid-friendly movies on Wednesday and Thursday. Both films are suitable for all ages, and both are free.

Along with Livingston Living Green and the Livingston Environmental Commission, the library will screen "Dr. Seuss' The Lorax," on Wednesday, at 2 p.m., to promote the Bicentennial theme for March, "Getting Greener." In the film, 12-year-old Ted decides to impress his crush Audrey by finding a long-extinct Truffula Tree. He ventures beyond the city's walls to find the grumpy recluse Once-ler, who tells of a once verdant landscape that has now been destroyed.

On Thursday at 1:30 p.m., the Spring Break Family Movie is "Wreck It Ralph." Ralph, the animated bad guy in a video game, is actually a big softie with a good heart. After escaping from the game, Ralph goes on a journey through generations of video games to prove he has what it takes to be a hero.
