Water Main Break In Livingston Affects Service For Some Residents

Livingston residents with "discoloration" in their water should run the cold water faucet until it's clear, officials said.

LIVINGSTON, NJ — A water main break in Livingston affected service for some residents near Billingsley Drive on Wednesday.

Livingston officials issued the following advisory on Wednesday morning:

“There is a water main break on Billingsley Drive, and residents on portions of Billingsley Drive, Browning Drive and Sycamore Terrace may experience water service interruptions. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. When the water service returns, if you see any air or discoloration in your water, run the cold water faucet at the sink closest to your water meter until the water is clear. Thank you for your understanding.”
